2. Cornerstone alpaca Ranch

Located on Highway 1B from Auckland to Hamilton, this private ranch is a pleasant stop on a road trip. The ranch was established in 2006 and opened to visitors in 2015. Before entering the farm, we will be trained in a few little knowledge about alpacas. When you go shopping, you can not only have a close contact with these cute alpacas, feed them by hand, but also interact with these cute animals and take photos. Here, if you dare, you can drive your own tractor. Handicrafts are also sold in the farm shop.

3. Hamilton Gardens

Hamilton Gardens is today one of New Zealand’s most prestigious gardens, with 5 different series of themed gardens. It won the “International Garden Tourism Award” in 2014 and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

4. Te Puia

To the southeast from Hobbiton, there is also a magical geothermal world – Tipuya, also known as the Gate of Hell because of the perennial fog.

Experience the breathtaking Puhutu Geyser, see boiling mud pools and rare exotic birds; Listen to your guide tell tales of legends handed down by Maori ancestors.

The geothermal wonders in the park have been formed over thousands of years and are absolutely rare treasures in nature. The unique landscape created by the geothermal movement and the surrounding volcanic wonders make Waiotapu a magnet for tourists.

5. Waitomo Cave

Waitomo Cave, south of Auckland, is known as the “ninth wonder of the world” due to the blue worms inhabiting the hole, and is also a tourist attraction that tourists must punch in New Zealand. Waitomo Cave creates the perfect living environment for blue worms. The firefly cave is a karst cave with stalactites and flowing water below.

Each visitor who comes here will be accompanied by a guide into the cave, visit the cave like a picture of the general strange, each has a shape of the stalactite landscape, and then enter a bright and broad cave hall. From the cave hall, you need to take a boat deeper into the river, crossing the blue wormhole.

At this time, you will find that there are strands of blue “silk” hanging from the cave above your head, forming a romantic blue starry sky scene.
